Qing Dynasty Retreat

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

 

By booking this Inclusive Tour you'll travel down to a small fishing-farming village which sits besides the Li River surrounded by the mystical karst mountains, just 1 hour south of Guilin city. Your accommodation is a revived Qing Dynasty house that has undergone the necessary refurbishment to provide for a comfortable stay. This 2 night - 3 day experience is suitable for travelers interested in a more quiet Guilin/Yangshuo trip while still being in the hart of this beautiful part of China.

DAY 1

  • Morning - Get picked up by a villager who takes you straight to our house.
​
  • Lunch - Ayi, the house cook, will prepare a local vegetarian meals on arrival**
​

  • Afternoon - After you've settled in feel free to choose any of the available local activities that you're interested in (a list with local activities can be found in the the guest manual)

​

  • Dinner - Ayi will prepare a local vegetarian meal**

​

  • Enjoy the privacy of your quiet house or feel free to mingle with villagers.

DAY 2

  • Morning - After a breakfast (mix between western and Chinese) feel free to choose any of the available local activities that you're interested in. (Recommended is going on an early hike up into the secluded mountains)

  • Lunch - Xiaomo, the house cook, will prepare a local vegetarian meals on arrival
​
  • Afternoon - Rest around the house/village or if your energy level allows choose any of the available local activities that you're interested in.

​

  • Dinner - Xiaomo will prepare a local vegetarian meal (meat options include fish and chicken which has to be ordered in advance)

​

  • Enjoy the privacy of your quiet house or feel free to mingle with villagers.
DAY 3
​
  • Morning - After a breakfast (mix between western and Chinese) feel free to choose any of the available local activities that you're interested in. (Recommended is going on an early hike up into the secluded mountains)
​
  • Check-out (11.00) - the same driver will pick you up at the house to bring you to your next destination (Guilin/Yangshuo area)
